The Origin of Muse Name According to Matt, Dom, and Chris, they chose the name 'Muse' because it was short and it looked good on a poster. The first they heard of the word was when someone in Teignmouth suggested that the reason for a lot of the populace becoming members of bands was due to a muse hovering over the town

18:00 I don’t have words to describe the version they played during the Black Holes Tour. It starts quiet and more stripped down, and when you think this version will be calmer and simpler for Matt to sing, the chorus comes and he just completely fucks his throat and his voice sounds like he’s bleeding through his mouth and screaming like he’s going to die when the song ends but you still can’t understand a single word while Chris seems to be punching his bass and Dom just goes crazy on the drums.

I think of 'In Utero' the way I think of 'White Light/White Heat' by The Velvet Underground. On an initial listen both albums are jarring, loud, uneven and messy, but the more you familiarize yourself with the tracks the more you realize the music is actually very inspired and powerful. I like the production, especially. The band sounds more vivid and raw than they do on Nevermind. Steve Albini and Cobain do an excellent job at portraying Nirvana's "true" sound.

I think most Queens fans know that the “nice vocals” that you pointed out on Un-Reborn Again are lifted from Georgia Satellites “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” and he sings it with the exact inflections their singer uses. Such a wild thing to slide in the song.
